Selina Mailänder
Selina studies Egyptology and Assyriology. Her interest in Egypt was awakened in the 6th grade and supported by her mother.
Selina is particularly interested in literature and the development of literary themes. She is very fascinated by the portrayal of Ancient Egypt in modern media.
Her focus is accordingly on films such as "The Mummy", games such as "Assassin's Creed Origins" and other media.

Miriam Rautenberg
Miriam is a master student of Museum Studies and Egyptology with a bachelor's degree in Museology and Egyptology. She doesn't know when she contracted Egyptomania, but she can't get away from it.
Sarah Hopp-Krämer
Sarah is a pharmacist and master student of Egyptology with a bachelor‘s degree in Egyptology and „Philosophy and Religion“. Her interest in Ancient Egypt emerged at the age of 5, when her parents did not want to take her to an egyptological exhibition. She focuses on medicine, plants and gardens.
When talking about Ancient Egypt, the focus often lies on pyramids and pharaohs, but our aim is to also show you how the „common people“ lived, what they ate and drank, what family life was like, which jobs they had, and how they spent their time in general.
On top of that, we discuss contemporary receptions of Ancient Egypt in movies, books and computer games.
